I used some printables of Avec les Mains for this tag. They have so many nice printables, I had trouble to choose! I used a nice "wood" paper and one with suns (but it got a little lost under the flowers !!)

SIWAS July - Adele - lovesong!!

SIWAS is back after a month of reorganizing and we have a two great songs for you this month!!
the pop team is assigned with a favourite song of mine  ... Adele- Lovesong !!!

well life has gone wildly busy lately so I am a little short on creating time !!!

well this month over at SIWAS it was my turn to choose the songs and I picked two of my favorites !!!

Scrap It With a Song DT Pop team- Running on Empty by Jackson Browne

hello everyone !!!! 

we have very exciting news over at Scrap it with a song !!!! from now on we will release the two songs - Rock and Pop - at the first of every month!!! that way you will have more time to work on your creations !!!! plus we will have a RAK created by the girl that picked the songs every month!!! 

so for this month we have a very pop and happy song at least for my ears !!! I loved the phrase " looking back ath the years gone by like so many summer fields "and I just had the perfect picture to use !!! its me looking back at the sunset on a summer afternoon ... I looooove sunset !! I like watching at the colors of the sky!!!

Summer is officially here so our song this month is very fun and summery!!!

I created an art journal page ispired by the lyric "All summer long" and my favorite sweet on summer - ice creams !!!!

I am here with our new challenge over at Scrap It With A Song!!! this month Astrid is choosing the Pop team song and she did a great job peaking " Lionel Richie-Dancing on the Ceiling "...

it is a very fun song !!! I like the lyric "Oh, what a feeling  " and I used it as my title for this layout... 

I got inspired by 7dots papers that I have (but the colors did not quite matched my photo) and I created my background on a white piece of cardstock.... dry-wall tape, painter's tape, mists,stamps,stensils and distress inks helped me build up this background work... and I loved the result !!!!

I firstly would like to wish to you a very very happy new year 2014 !!! I hope you all had a blust last night with family, friends or even alone !!! now let's get to this months song , yes yes you read correctly ... 2014 found us at SIWAS making a few changes on the challenges ... go check that out !!!

I love this song it is so full of rhythm and happiness !!!!
so I made an art journaling page (I know I am kind of addicted to art journaling lately )!!!
I got inspired by the lyrics lets paint the town and the title I gotta feeling !!

SIWAS DT art journal page-happy xmas (war is over) !!!

hello everyone !!!
today I want to share with you an art journal page I made , actually it is my second one ever!!! I got inspired by with week's challenge song over at SIWAS - Happy Xmas by John Lennon !!! I love this song ,it makes my think on peaceful moments and happy times !!! so it is a peace-themed art journal page !!! hope you like it !!! I sure did enjoy making it!!!

 and some closeups on the details !!!
I played with gesso and glue varnish to make the page look shiny and textured ... I printed the song's music page and used as my background ... I also printed the quote I used and distressed the paper as much as I could !!! then I went crazy with the butterflies as for my they as a symbol of freedom ans therefore peace !!!

DT layout SIWAS - all I want for Christmas is you !!!!

hello everyone !!! we have one more song for you over at SIWAS and it is all about Christmas .... All I want for Christmas is you from M.Carey!!!
I love the videoclip of this song because it is full of snow!!! I love that forest all snowy and I made my own little scenery at the bottom of my layout !!!
also I used the tree as a "sketch" for my page and arranged my fotos as ornaments !!!
I made my own poinsettas and I heat embossed the edges with white embossing powder to resemble snow ... I added snowflakes and glitter and I called it done !!! hope you like it !!!

DT- work for SIWAS- Payphone !!!!

hello everybody !!!
I am here to share with you a project I made for the second song over at Scrap it with a song for the month of november! The song we invite you to play with is the Payphone by Marron 5 !!! This actually one of my favourite songs by Maroon 5 so I got inspired immediately... I created a 3D payphone as I was particularly inspired by the lyric "I am at a payphone trying to call home" ... I thought as if I was at a payphone and I called my loved ones to wish them Merry Christmas .... and yes ok I know it is kind of early for Christmas by we can not question inspiration now can we???

I hand-cutted the 4 panels for the payphone , used some transparency for the windows and then used snow, pinecones, cinnamon sticks and even made a small sleight to complete the winter scene ... I cut some speechbubbles with my cricut and wet-embossed some sentiments-blessings.... and here it is !!!

DT work -card for scrap it with a song !!!!

hello everyone !!!

I am so excited today as I am presenting you my first DT project for Scrap It With a Song. Our challenges are all about songs and we invite you over to get inspired by the lyrics, the videoclip, the title etc and create a project, a layout, a card, even an art journaling page!!! For this month we have a sponsorship by KennyK digital stamps. We were kindly offered digital stamps to work with and I particularly loved this one because it reminded me of a dear friend of mine. So without further due I would like to show you the card I made. It is all about friendship , as the song states, and even the image resembels my friend, in my opinion.

 

I colored the image with distress inks and I used ripe persimmon, spiced marmaladed and evergreen bough to create the watercolored paper I used for background....
