New Years Eve Layout !!!!

well today I want to show you a layout I created using the color from WW1 : Tangerine 
and the sketch from scrapfriends . I really like this sketch because it spreads throughtout the page and so it doesn't narrow me down to the center or one corner of the page !!! and I could not resist orange since it is my absolutely fav color!!!!

I really enjoyed creating this page with misting, inking , playing with modeling paste and masks
and I also inkes the entire page with perfect pearls mist and now it is all glittery !!!!

Q&L challenge: SMILE and UP

hello everyone !!!

today I am very very excited to share with you my frst art journal page that I created inside my new art journal!!! I got inspired by vicky papaioannou ,a very talented woman , and I really like the way she creates an art journal page so I thought to give it a try!!!!!

a good fried told me about the Q&L challenges that will take part all year so I thought this is a good inspiration to start the first page !!! the first challenge is to use the words SMILE and/or UP on a quote or lyric on your project !!!! 

I used a quote I found and I really liked it : Music makes me Smile !!!! 

and this is my page:

I used distress inks in orange shades to create my background ,washi tape and modeling paste with a crafters workshop masks to make texture on my background and then some stamping around the edges with vintage photo and archival coffee inks !!! I really like the result!!!! hope you do too!!!

I also made an ATC card using this quote : I like people who Smile when it's Raining.

I am planing to make an ATC mini album that will host all the ATC's thought out the year !!!! 

I heat embossed the edges using a film strip stamp and sprayed the ATC with a lot of perfect pearls mist!!!! I like that it is all sparkly !!!!

DT Call - Colorful Creations Sketch

Hello everyone !!!

I am here today to share with a you a layout I created inspired by the sketch over at Colorful Creations !!!
and this sketch is not just a challenge is for the DT Call  !!!!

 Brenshevia is starting the blog again and is looking for her team !!! fingers cross I might be one of them !!! what a great opportunity that would be !!!
anyway let me show you my page :
I used DCWV papers that match my fotos (notice that the main paper has a doily design like the dress I am wearing on the foto !!! ) and I layered coordinating papers underneath the fotos !!! I also used stensils (crafters workshop and sodalicious) for a more textured background and I did some stamping too !! some misting ,embellisments (handmade flowers, prima flower , metallic elements and washi tape ) .... e wolla!!!!

I firstly would like to wish to you a very very happy new year 2014 !!! I hope you all had a blust last night with family, friends or even alone !!! now let's get to this months song , yes yes you read correctly ... 2014 found us at SIWAS making a few changes on the challenges ... go check that out !!!

so I made an art journaling page (I know I am kind of addicted to art journaling lately )!!!
